Choose neutrals like tan, cream, sage green, browns. If you want to add a pop of color to your session I recommend jewels tones! Burnt Orange, Emerald green ect!

Solids are best, if you want to add in a print you will want a very small, simple delicate print. You don't want any funky prints, logos ect!

Do not choose the same color for you and baby! Choose two coordinating shades. 
If you want a light ivory/cream dress for yourself thing about putting your baby in a darker khaki, sage green or even brown. 

Adding layers to your outfit will add texture and depth. Add a lace kimono over your dress or a cardigan

Add accessories to add interest to those detail shots. A necklace that has special meaning, your favorite rings.

During your session we will be capturing lots of little details! This will include close up with your hands. Make sure your nails are clean of old polish and clean under them. You could even make a nail appointment. 

For your babes, if your little one is wearing a dress I suggest making sure you have a diaper cover in a solid neutral color to match. Headbands can be worn in coordinating colors. For boys make sure their rompers or outfit covers their diapers!
